Based on true events, Lady of Guadalupe is a moving discovery with religious themes and historically significant recreations. When a young and ambitious reporter is assigned an article on faith he investigates the legend of Juan Diego and the Lady of Guadalupe. Skeptical of miracles or any current relevance, the reporter’s personal journey takes him from cynic to true believer as his personal limits are tested. Juan Diego was a humble native who changed the lives of millions, and the course of history, with nothing but his devout faith that was sparked by a personal encounter with the Lady of Guadalupe, one of the most celebrated saints in Christianity. Juan Diego became the first indigenous American saint to be canonized.
